Become Dive Instructor with this free Internships Program run by Rainbow Reef Dive Center in Florida Keys

This program is free, and it is open for everybody to apply for. But it is available by invitation only, because requirements are strict enough, even if no previous experience is needed. Have reasons to believe you could qualify? Then read the overwiew.

This 6 month long Divemaster Interships Program offers free training for people of active age, who are physically fit to become certified as PADI professional diver and start exciting career in ever expanding scuba diving industry. Contrary to many other programs that require thousands of dollars of your personal investment in exchange for training students only up to PADI Divemaster level, the Rainbow Reef Internship program is absolutely free to join and free to get trained up to the second level of PADI Instructor (Master Scuba Diver Trainer).

What is provided:

  • Lodging
  • Professional Liability Insurance
  • Certification classes from Open Water through Open Water Scuba Instructor
  • Dive trips to perform set of practical dives to gain skills and experience that are needed to complete certification requirements
  • 5 Specialty Instructor certifications.
In their turn the interns are required along with their dive instructor training to be available to work or train at the multi-location dive center in various positions during the whole term of the internship. After you get your certification as PADI Open Water Dive Instructor you'll also provide training to 25 customers of the dive facility in different classes, which is necesary for qualifying to become PADI Master Scuba Diving Trainer upon completing the full course of the diver internships program.

You don't pay for your training. The things the enrollees do pay for with this scuba diving internships program include meals, educational materials, and PADI certification fees. All training takes place and dives are performed in Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. So, if you are living in Florida or near by, the free course they offer must be ideal for you.

Besides getting trained for different levels of PADI certifications, students get specialized training in such professional areas of expertise as dive boats operations, dive center operations, compressor operator, repair and maintenance of scuba diving equipment, Nitrox blending, air filling, tank visual inspection and many more.
