North Sulawesi Scuba Diving
Lembeh Scuba is the only dive center in Bitung Town, at the entrance to Lembeh Strait and it offers transfer by boat leaving to dive sites daily at 8:00 a.m., which means that already 8:30 a.m. travelling scuba divers will be performing their buddy checks for their first dive of the day. The Lembeh Scuba dive center normally would suggest 2 scheduled morning dives, followed by the closing third dive between 2:30 p.m and 3:00 p.m., then bringing the scuba divers back to Bitung Town by boat to their hotel.
There are more than 30 dive sites in the area of Lembeh Strait, mostly with sandy seabed and small reefs topography. Lembeh Strait offers opportunity to watch different critters like mimic octopus, as well as to observe cuttlefish, harlequin shrimps, wonderpus, skeleton shrimps and numerous nudibranchs in their natural environment.
Important information: visiting Indonesia requires visa, which can be issued locally upon arrival to the country. There is no charge for 30-days visa for nationals of Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei, Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau, Chile, Peru and Morocco.
