Continued from the first part Florida diving clubs are able to find a variety of dive sites along the coast.Jupiter and West Palm Beach will surprise you with their interesting shipwrecks and some scuba dive sites have more than one wreck. The Thozina is just one of a trio of ships sunk at an artificial reef called Governor's River Walk Reef and is meant for experienced divers. In West Palm Beach Florida diving students can still enjoy a thrilling experience scuba diving famous reef systems such as Breakers Reef. Driving south towards Miami you reach Fort Lauderdale. America's answer to Venice, this is a scenic place giving a great base for any Florida diving trip. Ft. lauderdale has interesting scuba dive sites such as Tenneco Towers or Oil Platforms. There are plenty of fascinating choices and when you travel further south you reach Miami. Miami. Culture, fashion, sport and 'er' Army tanks waiting to be explored on the sea floor! Apart from all the cultural things you can do around Miami on your Florida diving trip there is also a great array of dive sites that provide beginner and experienced divers plenty of chance to have fun. Any Florida diving trip should not be complete without diving The Florida Keys. For a long spell called "The Scuba Diving Capital of the World" Key Largo has one of the widest choices and variety of dive sites in the world. The U.S.S. Spiegel, the single biggest ship ever deliberately sunk taking a full 3 days to fully investigate. Other ships include the U.S.S. Duane and Bibb. Some of the best underwater photography has been taken at Molaases Reef. The reef is located in comparatively shallow waters and therefore provides wonderful lighting. Molasses Reef is full of color and shapes provided by some of the best marine life in the area and the opportunities to improve your underwater photography skills is endless. Whilst many people travel to Florida diving the various scuba dive sites around Key Largo many others take the trouble to travel further south, to the end of The Keys, to Key West. Many scuba divers prefer the complete package, fun in the water and out, and Key West provides both. Great dive sites and streets full of entertainment means the place is bouncing in the night so you can enjoy yourself 24 hours a day. Back to the beginning.
